Porte Margot on the south side of Correze is part of the town's medieval fortification and has survived throughout centuries of war, it is connected between two houses with an ancient walkway. Above this from the adjoining buildings one could look out into the distant fields and forest for intruders. Porte Margot houses a religious icon which appears to be the Notre Dame du Pont du Salut |
